The velvety feel as it slips down my throat. The way everything around me goes into slow motion. The glass of milk takes 5 minutes instead of 5 micro seconds to slip out of my three year old’s hands. The cat’s mouth does this weird yawn thing as it’s meowing for the hell of it. Birds freeze in the sky. I can hear my heart pumping slow and loud.

So, during my life on slow speed, I was thinking that I *needed* to add milk texturising and pouring techniques to my filing cabinet of skills. But alas, I am on the wrong side of the country. So I will familiarise myself with the different types of Grinder’s machines instead. I’m hoping to buy one one day with the expectation it will mop my floors and cook the occasional dinner.

I feel the need to point out to my husband that it is not necessary to put coffee in the fridge. IT SAYS SO HERE!

But alas, the cup runeth dry. Verbal skills have reverted back to Fish Wife status. Till next cup.
