carrot walnut & cinnamon cake

I have been looking for years for that elusive cafe style carrot and walnut cake recipe. You know the one, really dark, not too sweet, with that fantastic icing on top!

I found it.

And I believe it is my civic duty to blog it.

    Hi there, Looking for a recipe for carrot cake I came across yours - yes I too have tried (unsuccessfully so far) to copy a cafe-bought cake. Before I try your recipe could you tell me the size of the CUPS you use - Metric, American or what? I don’t want to ruin it with the wrong measures.Hope u can help.Must tell you your jewellery looks great too!!

    I never even thought of the different cup sizes!

    I use metric.

    I have just tried another Carrot and Walnut recipe which is just as nice as this one! I’ll be blogging it as soon as I can take a photo…we’ve been eating them too quickly!
